Creating an Inclusive Environment, Pt. 2

This module continues our two-part series on “Cultivating an Inclusive Environment.”

The last module explored concepts related to Equity and Inclusion – we studied intersectionality and oppression and we examined the role of privilege in our lives. 

In this module, we’re going to take what we learned and apply it. Specifically, we’re going to be discussing the role of language & ways to cultivate inclusivity for ourselves and others.

When discussing harmful language and how to combat it in the workplace we hear things that trigger us or make us feel uncomfortable. Please do what you need to do to remain grounded in this module. Step away for a break when needed. Share your experiences. Remember we are here to learn from one another
