Introduction
Welcome back! In this session, we will be continuing our conversation around wellness. Last time we were together we talked about workplace stress, wellness and how to center self-care in our lives.
In this session, we will be extending our conversation to include – work life balance, communicating boundaries and checking in with our capacity. It’s important to take time and learn best practices so we can avoid burnout.
Objectives
- Recognize the importance of workplace boundaries
- Review best practices for establishing and naming boundaries
- Review connections between boundaries, capacity & well-being
Check-In: PIES
This session, we will be checking in with PIES. It’s important to check in with yourself in multiple ways. PIES stands for Physically, Intellectually, Emotionally and Spiritually. As a point of reference – spiritually doesn’t necessary mean connection to a religion. But instead how are you finding spiritual balance, whatever your connection to source is.
We're doing this because it’s important to pause and check in with ourselves from time to time. It’s important to identify the areas of our lives that need strengthening for our own well-beiing.
