Introduction

Welcome back! Last time we were together we talked about the foundations of financial readiness, budgeting, and building toward the future you want.

In this module, we'll be focusing on negotiations and benefits. As participant in this program, we believe in your worth and we believe that you deserve the best possible financial situation in the professional world. In order to make sure you get the best offer from an employer for your salary and benefits, we're going to prepare for negotiations!

Opening Discussion:

Negotiating can be an intimidating activity, especially if you haven't done it before. You may feel excited about receiving a job offer or nervous about opportunities being too rare to negotiate. But we're here to pump up our confidence and learn about ways to have conversations that result in the salary we know you deserve!

With that in mind, we want to start with one discussion question:: "What is something positive about you that you're bringing to your next job?"
