Now that you've read and reacted to your first scenario, let's try another:

Toni has been struggling with the shift to remote work. Toni is living with his partner, his mom and two children. The house is small, and Toni rarely has a quite space to work.  Toni has been stressed because his supervisor, Jenna mentioned that all team members are required to turn on their video during staff meetings. Jenna believes that she must “see her team” to know that they are engaged in the meeting. During the last staff meeting Toni did not turn on his video despite the Jenna’s requirement. After the meeting, Jenna sent Toni an email detailing the company’s policy around staff meetings and virtual engagement. In the email she stated, “as a new employee here, we hope that you are able to meet the demands of our workplace culture.
