Introduction

Welcome back! In this module, we will continue our exploration of leadership and communication -specifically we will be exploring the role of feedback in the workplace.

In order to understand the role of feedback we have to begin with understanding workplace culture and norms.

• How do we come to understand the norms of a workplace?
• What are norms?
• How do workplace norms impact our performance and how others view our performance?

These are some of the questions we will be digging into today.  

Objectives

This module is focused on workplace culture, communicating feedback and reviewing best practices for communicating feedback with supervisors.

• Understand the role of feedback in the workplace​
• Develop awareness of personal growth areas.​
• Review best practices for communicating feedback and expectations with supervisors​
